Ann was admitted as a Solicitor in 1992, and has been specialising in Personal Injury Law since then. Ann has acted for many clients seeking compensation for injuries received in motor accidents, at work or in public places, and as a result of medical negligence and faulty products. She has also acted for many clients through their superannuation in relation to total and permanent disablement and for income protection.

Ann's specialty is in relation to brain injury, psychological injury, spinal cord damage and severe orthopaedic injuries. Her familiarity with the complicated methods of assessing damages for those claims under different legislation has assisted her clients greatly in achieving early settlements.

Prior to becoming a Partner at Parnell Legal, Ann worked exclusively in the personal injury litigation section of two large city firms, and at three major suburban firms working in the areas of personal injury litigation and employment law. This included approximately 13 years as Special Counsel.
 
Ann has also acted for many clients relating to all types of employment law disputes. She has assisted numerous employer clients in avoiding costly litigation by providing them with prompt advice, proper contracts of employment, policies and procedures in dealing with workplace disputes.

Ann has reviewed and advised numerous high profile CEO in relation to their employment contracts with their employers and helped them negotiating better employment terms. Ann has also acted for numerous employee clients relating to unfair/unlawful dismissal, discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying.

Ann is dedicated to providing her clients with quality legal advice and obtaining for them the best result available within the law. Ann is one of very few solicitors that have practiced in both personal injury and employment law which are vast, complex and have frequently been changed.

Ann has achieved a high volume of settlements due to her negotiation skills and extensive knowledge of the State and Federal law in the areas of her practice. Early settlement saves costs, provides certainty and obviates unnecessary stress to her clients.
 
In addition to speaking English, Ann is also fluent in Vietnamese and Cantonese.
